Trending Now: Jackson and Fisher being considered for Knicks job

Ken Rosenthal: Reds 1B Joey Votto didn’t travel with the team to Philadelphia because of a knee injury.  Votto will have an MRI and could be headed to the disabled list.

 

The Pirates-Yankees game tonight has been postponed.  The teams will play a doubleheader on Sunday.

 

NY Post: Mark Jackson is considered to be a candidate for the Knicks coaching job. The New York Daily News said the Knicks also want to talk with Thunder guard Derek Fisher about their coaching job.

 

The Pittsburgh Penguins fired GM Ray Shero.  Despite reports, head coach Dan Bylsma remains with the team.  President David Morehouse said Bylsma’s status will be evaluated.

 

The Browns released WR Greg Little.

 

FOX Sports 1: Mike Garafolo reports the Bengals and LB Vontez Burfict are in talks on a contract extension.
