RENTON - The next time the Seattle Seahawks will practice at their team headquarters along the shores of Lake Washington will be for the team's rookie mini-camps following the NFL Draft.

But first the team has business to attend to on the east coast.

The Seahawks will head to New York this weekend to begin on-site preparations for Super Bowl XLVIII next week. The team will leave for New York Sunday morning and get into Newark, N.J. around 7 p.m. ET on Sunday night.

The Seahawks will train at the practice facility of the New York Giants in East Rutherford, N.J. while the Denver Broncos will train at the headquarters for the New York Jets in Florham Park, N.J.

Seattle put their entire game plan in during practices this week with the anticipation that the demands of Super Bowl week will create a more difficult environment for preparing for the game. The Seahawks plan on using their time in New York just to add small pieces to the game plan and make minor adjustments.

The team heads to New York healthy and ready for their second Super Bowl appearance. Seattle had four players miss practice on Friday but all are expected to play next week. The team is required to put out a full injury report this week despite the game not being until next weekend. All six players listed were listed as probable for Seattle.
