Renton, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks have announced season ticket prices for 2014 will increase at a blended average just under 12%.

The average price will increase $12, from $99 to $111 in 2014.

"Seventy-percent of season ticket holders will see an increase between $3 - $11 per ticket," said Seahawks president Peter McLoughlin. "In addition, approximately 10% of tickets are priced at or below the average lowest ticket price in the NFL."

The team will also introduce variable ticket pricing for the first time which will be finalized once the NFL schedule is released.

"Through variable pricing, ticket prices will better reflect the value and demand for each game once the schedule is announced next month," said McLoughlin.

Individual game tickets will continue to be sold at a higher price, offering season ticket holders the greatest value for their Seahawks game tickets.

Over the last two seasons, Seattle's 15-1 home record is the best in the NFL and since 2003, the team has sold out 95 consecutive games, including playoffs.

The team has 12,000 paid members on the Blue Pride Waitlist and 30,000 non-paid members on the Blue Pride Notification List.

Season ticket holders will begin to receive renewal information in the next few days.
