RENTON - While QB Russell Wilson, QB Tarvaris Jackson and QB Terrelle Pryor all are unable to practice in this weekend's rookie mini-camp, undrafted free agent QB Keith Price has been picking up the slack.

Price has had two strong days of practice leading the offensive workouts in mini-camp. Price has performed miles ahead of tryout QB Zach Zulli during the practices and has made some impressive throws over the first two days.

Price connected with WR Arceto Clark on a pair of deep passes, one over S Michael Dobson and another over CB Jon Davidson. He also dropped a crossing route into TE Cooper Helfet over LB Korey Toomer and hit WR Kevin Norwood on a deep ball behind CB Thomas Wolfe.

Clark and Norwood were among a small group of receivers able to take part in Saturday's practice. Second-round pick WR Paul Richardson was held out of practice for precautionary reasons only. In addition, WR Chris Matthews again was sidelined with a hamstring strain and tryout player WR Lance Ray was also held out.

That left just four receivers for Price and Zulli to work with, and the quartet got quite the workout.

Price has looked in command and has thrown some accurate balls with a good sense of touch. While it's important to note the defenders he's throwing against aren't S Earl Thomas, S Kam Chancellor and CB Richard Sherman, it's safe to say Price has performed well in his opportunities.

Richardson sitting out is nothing to be concerned over. He fell to the ground awkwardly while diving for a pass on the last play of practice on Friday. Richardson had a stellar practice before landing hard and taking a few seconds to pop up from the turf.

Richardson showed what he could do on Friday. There is no need to push it for a somewhat inconsequential practice in May. He's not expected to practice on Sunday either.

T Garrett Scott was sidelined again as he has apparently not received clearance to practice from his physical.
